The foundation for this mission statement lies in the belief that Borough citizens are willing to invest in their community in proportion to their trust that their dollars are being used properly and for their benefit.  Improving the quality of life in the Borough requires many parties to contribute many things.  Our contribution to this goal, in fact our duty above all else, is to provide accountability for Borough funds such that our citizen's willingness to invest in this community is enhanced and improved as a consequence of their trusting that their money is used as they intend.
