Life Insurance
ReliaStar—ING
The Borough provides Basic Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment
(AD&D) Insurance through ReliaStar—ING for each regular employee as
follows:

Life Insurance Booklet
The lesser of: 1 times your Basic Yearly Earnings or $250,000.
Supplemental Life Insurance is available through ING for each eligible employee and their spouse or domestic partner, or unmarried dependents up to age 26.
- Employee Supplemental Insurance is available from $10,000 to $250,000 and must be chosen in increments of $10,000.
- Dependent Life Insurance for spouse or domestic partner is available from $10,000 to $100,000 and must be chose in increments of $10,000.
- Dependent Children Life insurance is available in amounts of $2,000 to $10,000 on your unmarried children age 6 months but less than 26 years. Children age 14 days but less than 6 months can be covered for $200.
Colonial Life & Accident Insurance Company
Supplemental insurance is available through Colonial Life Supplemental
Insurance. This is an optional program, participation in the program is
voluntary and funded by the employee, through payroll deductions.
