The FNSB Landfill is open
7 days a week.

The transfer sites are for Borough residents living outside the City of Fairbanks.

Prescription medications

    Simple steps to safeguard
       lives & protect the
       environment:

Pour into a sealable plastic bag. If medication is solid, crush it or add water to dissolve.
Add kitty litter, sawdust, or coffee grounds to the plastic bag.
Seal the plastic bag and dispose in the trash.

Residential: Loads from a “residence in a passenger vehicle, pick-up truck, or a trailer with two wheels and a single axle will be considered minor loads if the vehicle is not registered in the name of a company or business or used for commercial purposes.” (Ordinance 8.12.055A)
