Solid Waste News: The FNSB Landfill is open 7 days a week. (See Hours of Operation to the right.); The Transfer Sites are for Borough residents living outside the City of Fairbanks.; Dispose commercial waste

We are now accepting credit cards. Payment is accepted at the window for immediate payment of disposal, or apply for monthly auto pay.; FNSB job opportunities are listed on the new online website at Online Applications or visit FNSB home page.; Simple steps to safeguard
lives & protect the environment; 1. Pour into a sealable plastic
   bag. If medication is solid,
   crush it or add water to
   dissolve.; 2. Add kitty litter, sawdust, or
coffee grounds to the plastic
bag.; 3. Seal the plastic bag and

SOLID WASTE FEES
Household - Free of Charge
Commercial - See Fee Schedule

Residential: Loads from a “residence in a passenger vehicle, pick-up truck, or a trailer with two wheels and a single axle will be considered minor loads if the vehicle is not registered in the name of a company or business or used for commercial purposes.”
(Ordinance 8.12.055A)

The RHHW Facility requires appointments prior to dropping materials off for disposal.

Automobiles: Junk vehicles are accepted at the Landfill. (Disposal Form); Residents—Free of Charge; Commercial—$30 per vehicle; No Proof of Ownership Required; Vehicles accepted with fluids

Saturday
      9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Sunday
      12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m.; The Landfill Facility is closed on the following holidays:

        Thanksgiving Day
        Christmas Day
