NOTICE TO PROPERTY OWNERS
Your account has been forwarded to this office to begin foreclosure proceedings for delinquent 2016 and prior year's real property taxes.
Alaska Statute requires that notification be given to all holders of mortgages or other liens of record of this impending foreclosure. To accomplish this task, we will be ordering a litigation report for each property remaining on the foreclosure list. The litigation reports will be used to notify all lien holders and creditors of record. At the close of business (5:00 p.m.) on November 8, 2018, an additional charge for a litigation report and administrative fee, for which you are liable, will be added to your 2016 taxes or prior year's taxes. The taxpayer is liable for these costs associated with foreclosure in addition to the taxes, penalty, and interest currently due on each parcel.
At 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 8, 2018, a charge of $510.00*
will be added to the amount previously due.

This charge is a flat fee per parcel. This charge includes the cost of acquiring litigation reports and setting up foreclosure accounts and files for each property. As we progress through the legally required foreclosure process, additional costs will be incurred which will be added to the amount currently owing. Payment of the delinquent taxes prior to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 8, 2018, will result in considerable savings to you. Additional fees to be added if the taxes are not paid are as follows:
