Cleaning Requirements
For Pioneer Park Facilities

Alaska Centennial Center For The Arts

• All glass areas should be checked and cleaned of fingerprints and left over pieces of tape.
• All user groups are required to clean all four restrooms. (North & South lobbies – 2nd Level and North & South Vestibules – 3rd Level.)
• Pick up litter and empty trashcans. Replacement liners are in the bottom of the can.
• Clean urinals/toilets/sinks – wipe mirrors.
• Mop floors. 
• Do not stack tables higher than the table cart handles. Stack tables legs down.
• Final cleaning must be performed the day of the event if another event is scheduled in the facility the following day.  
• 6’ and 8’ tables should be stacked separately.  
• Tables are required to be wiped down/cleaned before being stacked on the racks. 
• Stack chairs no more than 10 high.

Church

• Clean toilets/sinks – wipe mirrors in restrooms.
• Pick up litter and empty trashcans.
• Take out all decorations to include flowers & pew decorations, such as bows, candles, etc.
• Vacuum carpet and floors.

Dressing Rooms

• Dressing tabletops, sink, and mirrors must be cleaned after each use.
• Floors must be swept and wet mopped with commercial disinfectant after every use.
• Pick up all litter and empty trash.
• Tiled showers must be cleaned with commercial disinfectant/anti-bacterial agent.

Exhibition Hall-Mezzanine-Upper Level– Front & Rear Lobbies  

• Clean kitchen and damp mop floor.
• Damp mop dance floor.
• Damp mop front and rear entrances, lobbies & steps, and front & rear lobbies and steps on upper levels.
• Make sure elevator is clean.
• Pick up litter, empty trashcans, cigarette butt cans.
• Vacuum carpet/clean noticeable stains.
• Vacuum front & rear entrances, lobbies & steps, and front & steps on upper levels. 
• Wipe tables and chairs (fold & stack.)

Miscellaneous 

• Cleaning should be done immediately after the event.  If it is anticipated that additional cleaning time will be necessary the following day, please make arrangements in advance through the Park Office.
• Decorations are the responsibility of the Permittee unless otherwise specified. 
• The kitchen area in the Exhibit hall should be cleaned if used.

Pioneer Hall

• Pick up litter, empty trash cans, clean cigarette butt cans.
• Wipe tables and chairs (fold & stack.)
• Damp mop lobby floor & bathrooms as necessary.
• Clean urinals/toilets/sinks – wipe mirrors in restrooms.
• All glass areas should be checked and cleaned of fingerprints left over pieces of tape.

Theater

• As conditions warrant, theater stage must be swept clean and wet mopped.
• Clean seats and armrests. Remove any stains if necessary.
• Foyer connecting theater backstage with dressing rooms should be wet mopped. 
• Pick up litter and empty trashcans.
• Sweep aisles/mop if necessary.  Cement floor in front of and under theater seating must be free of accumulated debris.
