The Folk School offers year-round classes and programs for all ages in traditional crafts, woodworking, outdoor skills, and hands-on arts and sciences.

We are part of a 200 year old tradition of folk schools, with a core belief that learning should occur across social position and differences: the teacher learns from the student and the student learns from the teacher in a dynamic and mutual exchange.

Our goal is to inspire and empower students through the process of learning new life skills that serve to build resilience in a changing world.
