Here are several announcements regarding the changes to FNSB's MACS Transit and Van Tran Service.

1. Effective July 1, 2022 – FNSB will restart the collection of FARES to ride on the MACS Transit System. Patron Fares had been suspended back at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
2. Due to DRIVER SHORTAGE, MACS Transit will suspend SATURDAY Service on the following lines: Blue, Green, Purple/Brown, and Red. These bus lines will NOT run on Saturdays.
3. Van Tran Services will be on a reduced/limited service schedule for SATURDAYS. (Remember, VT is for eligible Patrons. CALL for more information or to schedule!)
4. Public Meetings are scheduled for June 20, 21, and 28 at the Noel Wien Library Conference Room and the North Pole Library Multi-Purpose Room. The public to interact with staff and ask questions about these changes, how to schedule Van Tran Service, how to read a bus schedule, how to use a smartphone to find out where a bus is, and more.
